We teach you how to pilot your own vessel using proven boat handling techniques that will build your confidence level in docking and undocking maneuvers. Ocean currents can be tricky, so we work with you to prepare you for the handling of strong currents as well as large waves or swells that can appear entering or exiting ocean inlets. Offshore / inshore ocean running, anchoring, map / chart reading, electronics use, including the use of VHF radio, radar, chart plotter, autopilot, depth finder, and general navigational skills are, of course, very important to know in running safely to your destinations.
